Directions: C-470 to Kipling. South on Kipling. Take
immediate right. Not sure what road is called (There is a sign indicating Deer
Creek Canyon to the right about 3 miles). Get in left lane. Road will curve to
left. Go right on Deer Creek Canyon Road to Grizzly. Go left. Go up hill and
Deer Creek Canyon will be to the right.
Trail Information: Very hilly; loose dirt and some rock;
approximately 11 miles of trails. Restrooms and payphone in parking lot. Maps
available. Begin either on Plymouth Creek Trail or another 1.6 mile "hiking
only" trail from parking lot (can't recall the name) that connects with the
Plymouth Creek Trail. Plymouth Mountain Trail loops further up. Red Mesa Trail
loops at the far end. A couple of other "hiking only" trails branch
off of the loops.
