Directions: I-94 E/W TO EXIT 19(ST RD 249). SOUTH 4 STOP LIGHTS TO
CENTRAL AVE. TURN LEFT. EAST TO MCCOOL RD("T" INTERSECTION) TURN LEFT. NORTH 1/2
MILE, PARK IS ON RIGHT SIDE OF ROAD. TRAIL HEAD AND PARKING ARE LOCATED 1/4 MILE IN ON
RIGHT.
Trail Information: TRAIL IS PART OF PORTAGE PARKS DEPT. ENTRY IS FREE.
TRAIL IS SHARED WITH MOUNTAIN BIKERS. (WHO HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN CREATING NEW
TRAILS. CURRENTLY THERE ARE 2 TRAILS. BOTH ARE 3-1/2 TO 4 MILES LONG. TRAIL "A" IS
LOOP COARSE, WITH MANY STEEP "UPS AND DOWNS", AS WELL AS TWISTS AND TURNS.
CURRENTLY THERE IS ONE TRAIL RACE ON PORTIONS OF THIS COURSE, (THE "TRAIL
EXTREME" IS A 5 MILE DBLE LOOP RACE ON MEMORIAL DAY.) THERE IS ALSO A MULTI LOOP
MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE IN OCTOBER WHICH COVERS 3,5,7 LOOPS OF THE MAIN TRAIL. COURSE
"B" IS AN OUT AND BACK COURSE THAT IS STILL FAIRLY NEW THE COURSE TWISTS AND
TURNS FOLLOWING A STREAM UNTIL IT REACHES A HILL LEADING TO A RIDGE AFTER FOLLOWING A
LARGE LOOP YOU HEAD BACK IN TO THE MAIN TRAIL. BOTH TRAILS ARE MARKED WITH RED
ARROWS. GREEN ARROWS WILL GIVE ALTERNATE ROUTES THAT ARE EASIER BUT WILL LEAD BACK TO
THE MAIN TRAIL.
Miscellaneous Information: IMAGINATION GLEN IS A GREAT PLACE TO BUILD LEG
STRENGTH. DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU FIND ACHES AND PAINS IN MUSCLES YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD
