Directions: From Austin take SR 256 east to SR 203 north.
Enter Hardy Lake Area, trail head on left approx. 1/4 mile past entrance gate
Trail Information: The outward bound itself is approx. 2.05 mi but
can easily be combined with one or two others (Island and Cemetery) to make an
approx. 4 miler without leaving "the woods". No huge hills but plenty
of small ups and downs. Part of trail runs along shore of Hardy Lake. For some
reason there is always a smell of Skunks along the trail!!!!! (only adds to the
allure)
Miscellaneous Information: Nice Park area at Hardy Lake-shelter house,
camping, beach. Other trails in park also.
