Directions: Located off MD Rt 198, 1.4 miles east of the B/W Parkway
(295).
Trail Information: Approximately 8 miles of interconnected gravel trails
(designated: green, blue, red, yellow and orange). The orange trail ends at the Blue
Heron Blind, overlooking a pond and a meadow. Trails are mostly flat, there a couple
of slight inclines. Usually quite solitary. Not a rave run, but if you
live/work in the area and are looking for a quick after-work run on trails that are easy
on the knees, the North Tract is good to have in your hip pocket.
Miscellaneous Information: Map available at the Visitor Center, (410)
674-3304. From September through January, during hunting season, the trails are open
only on Sunday. In February, daily hours are 8am-4:30pm, in March 8am-6pm, and from
April through August 8am-8pm.
