Directions: Follow signs from I-77 to Lake Norman State Park. In
the park follow signs to Group Camping area. Trailhead is off of parking
lot.
Trail Information: This is a 6.7 mile loop trail that follows the
shoreline of Lake Norman. The trail is reasonably well maintained and has
some very nice views of the lake. There is no water on the trail, other
than the lake. The trail is a woodland trail that goes up and many small
gulleys. It can be treacherous in the fall if the leaves are wet.
