Directions: from I-35 in Norman, OK take hwy 9 east approx. 15 miles and
turn left into Lake Thunderbird State Park Clear Bay Area. The trail head
is to the right of the road across the street from the horse stables and has a
large gravel parking area.
Trail Information: Large trail system for runners and mountain bikers
with 5 connecting loops of different skill levels from novice to expert. Approx
14 miles of trails (maybe more since the addition of new trails) through dense
woods along the south side of Lake Thunderbird with some double track. Beautiful
trails ranging from flat to rocky, sandy, technical trails with great views of
the lake.
