Directions: 30 miles Southeast of Austin in Bastrop State Park.
Trail Information: Fantastic summer running site! Shade 80-85% of
the course and surface is dirt and pine needles. The trail is approximately an 8
mile undulating loop in pine trees. Lots of variety, only a few hikers ever
present. Bring your own water.
Miscellaneous Information: Costs a few bucks to get in the park,
but worth the price for the run. The park also has a public Olympic size pool
for a dip after the run.
