Directions: Park at the Surrender Field Parking lot within the
Battlefields National Park. Head up the access road, pass under Rt. 17, and look for a
trailhead on your left.
Trail Information: This accesses an old road, and there are trails to the
left of this road (opposite the golf course). The run can be an 8-mile run if you do the
whole thing. It is also close to Newport News park (other trail listed on this
site). Trails are used by bikers, and have some rolling hills (not much) and are wooded.
Miscellaneous Information: No water. Supposed to pay the national park
fee.
