Directions: Take Rt 1 toward Ashland. Turn left on to Rt 54. Follow a few
miles, past a nursing home on the left, past some beautiful farm land look for the brown
sign on your right directing you to turn left to the park. Your turn takes you past a
school, continue to parking lots. Many, many ways to enter the trails. Try a different way
each time.
Trail Information: Miles and miles of trails. A lot of mountain bikers ride
this park, but there are so many trails you can easily find your own ground. Many
challenging hilly areas. Beautiful park for riders and runners!

Directions: From Richmond, take Interstate 95 North to exit 92 (Ashland,
VA). Go West on 54, through Ashland, about 4 miles. The road will be on your
left, but look for the small sign on your right. There will be a left-turning lane
for the access road. That road dead-ends into the park.
Trail Information: Poor Farm Park has plenty of routes to take.
From the parking area, all trails begin with a nice downward slope to get you
started. From there you can explore dense woods and rolling hills. Most of the
trail is shaded, but there are exposed areas as well.
Miscellaneous Information: This place is great. Look out for a few
mountain bikers, but the traffic ia pretty low compared to other parks I've been to.
