Directions: From Big Bear Blvd. turn south onto Mill Creek Road
and follow the signs to Forest road 2N10. Follow signs to LodgePole Pine Trail,
about 15 on dirt road
Trail Information: Some sandy portions and other portions are
rocky. The trail starts downhill and the return is up. After 2 miles the trail is
unmaintained but continues for a total of 7 miles.
Miscellaneous Information: This is a beautiful trail that first
takes you along lush meadows with wildflowers and ferns. It then follows a riverbed
that opens up about 3000 feet over the valley floor with unbelievable views.
