Directions: Take highway 1 south from half moon bay past ano nuevo,
through davenport to wilder ranch state park, about 2 miles north of santa cruz (watch for
the brown state park sign). From santa cruz, drive north on highway 1 about a mile past
western drive, ranch is west of the highway
Trail Information: Excellent coastal trail along the cliffs of the
pacific ocean.. can do a 5-mile out and back (turn around at private property signs).. you
can also continue up into the trails (pick up baldwin loop, enchanted loop or wilder ridge
loop from the end of the coastal trail) that go inland up into the hills.. there are 33
miles of trails altogether
Miscellaneous Information: Inland trails are also used by mountain bikers
but I've never had problems sharing the trails with them
