Huntington State Park

Directions: From Highway 15, take route 58 north approximately 20-25 minutes and follow the signs

Trail Information: One of my favorite places to run in CT, not the longest set of trails, is Huntington State Park near Redding, CT. It is an old estate that has been turned into a State park. Complete with streams, a small lake and varied terrain, it is great pretty much any time of the year. In the winter, be careful not to run directly on the cross country ski track, common courtesy. I think this trail has been mentioned in Runners World. Have fun!!
