Directions: From Route 8 north: take Exit 38.
Turn left at the end of the exit ramp to first traffic light. Turn left at
traffic light onto US Route 6 west. Pass park entrance is a 1/2 mile on the
right on US Route 6 Turn right on Bidwell Hill Rd. Parking on right. Trail
head is 0.1 mile south on right
From Route 8 south: take Exit 38. Go straight ahead at the end
of the exit ramp to US Route 6 west. Pass park entrance is on the right. Turn
right on Bidwell Hill Rd. Parking on right. Trail head is 0.1 mile south on
right
Trail Information: Follow blue trail
markers for 1/2 mile easy warm up .3 mile hard climb to Black Rock Lookout.
0.17 mile descent turn right on red marked trail for .41 mile, meets blue trail
near start of climb. Turn left back to road or right for another loop. Descent
follows small stream and is very wet.
