Directions: Northwestern point of the island of Oahu. I suggest
start and park on the north shore side.
Trail Information: Beautiful 3.3-13.0m run from one side of the
island to the other around the base of the Wainae mountains where the native
Hawaiians believe the spirits go.
Miscellaneous Information: 3.3m from the end of pavement on either
side to the lighthouse. I suggest running the full length around and back.
Bring plenty of water as Kaena means "the heat". I am out there
at least once a week. If anyone wants me to run with them email me.
My PR's are 24:17 to the lighthouse (3.3m) and then 1:49:16 around and
back (13.0m)
