Directions: From Kewanee, IL 61443, head north on IL78
approx 5 miles to Johnson's Sauk Trail State Park (will be on your right/east
side when coming from Kewanee).
Trail Information: Park has many good trails to run on, but
these two are great for all skill levels. Actually are two different straight
line trails separated by the park road. Each are 1/3 miles straight, so a down
and back is 1 1/3 mi. Great for beginners and also can be done as down and backs
for more advanced people.
Miscellaneous Information: Park has multiple other great
trails, although some are closed during hunting season in early October. Others
in safe areas are always open permitting good weather.
