Directions: From I-435 North in Kansas (I-435 loops entirely around
Kansas City area, and is about 1/2 in Missouri) follow to 87th St exit. Go back over
overpass, and take first left, following down about 3/4 mile to near-dead-end. Park
parking is to the left.
Trail Information: Beautiful asphalt-paved trail, with 1/2 mile interval
markers, about 15-20 miles in length!!! Lots of benches off path for rest. In
forested area, but has many clearings. Well-maintained, also follows along a running
creek bed, train tracks, and all kinds of hills!!! The best one around, great for
walkers, hikers, bikers, and runners! Even rollerblading! Has oversized (for
changing clothes) Port-a-John at parking area.
