Directions: 49 South from Hatttiesburg turn right at Carnes exit go about
200 yards make first right, follow out to you see park sign (3 miles roughly), turn right
on dirt road till it ends at the Black Creek.
Trail Information It is a 40 mile trail, so you can start at
various points. The portion of the trail I utilize mostly is a 3.1 mile 95% dirt, some
sand, but the terrain is rolling hills. Some of the view is of the Black Creek, but most
of it is woods. It is several degrees cooler on the trail and not buggy. It
isn't Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, PA., but it is a nice trail and forever
challenging.
