Directions: Take I-90 to Livingston, turn south on Highway 89 towards
Yellowstone National Park. Go about 10 miles, and take a left on Pine Creek Road.
Cross the Yellowstone river bridge and take a right at the T. Less than a
mile, take a left at the Pine Creek campground access. Follow the road up to the recently
remodeled trailhead/campground/picnic area.
Trail Information: Tough climb-3,000 feet in 5 miles to a beautiful
alpine lake nestled in several jagged peaks. Good views of the Yellowstone River
Valley. Several waterfalls/cascades. Heavy hiker use on the weekends.
Miscellaneous Information: Good microbrews on tap, food, and Gatorade at
the tiny Pine Creek Cafe.
