Directions: Toadstool park is approximately 15 miles North of Crawford.
About 5 miles on Hiway 2 North and then 10 miles on gravel roads. Roads to
Toadstool are well marked.
Trail Information: Trail begins relatively flat on walking path then
follows dry (usually) creek bed, over badlands area and through grasslands to the
Hudson-Meng Bison kill site. The trail is about 3.5 miles one way. Several small
canyons to cross. Beautiful scenery.
Miscellaneous Information: Water and toilet facilities available at both
ends of trail. No facilities available on the trail. Rattlesnakes possible.
Day user fee necessary to enter areas ($3/car). Camping at Toadstool possible.
