Directions: I-40 to state road 400 (Exit 39 from the West or
Exit 33 from the East). Go south on Rt. 400 for 7 miles through Ft.
Wingate to Mile Marker 3. Trail head is on the right.
Trail Information: 17 miles of well-marked single track loops
in a forested area. Altitude of 7,800 to 8,000 feet.
Miscellaneous Information: Stop in Gallup, NM (15 miles to the
west) and visit Sammy C's Rockin' Sports Bar & Grill. Great sports memorabilia
collection, 10 HD TV's and a good selection of beers.
