Directions: Go east on Rt. 87 (Kinsman Road). This
is a major east/west artery and easily located on any road map. The trail head
is at a brand new park facility right off this road.
Trail Information: This is a brand new park built and administered
by the Geauga County Parks Commission. As of today (10/1/00) there is only a 2.6
mile loop but there are other branch trails under construction. The bridle path
follows the contours of the land and is a roller coaster of ups and downs,
twists and curves, stream crossings, etc. There are considerable pots of mud and
trail shoes seem essential equipment. Lace them up tight - I took a header that
could've been much worse than it was.
