Frick Park trails,  Pittsburgh

Directions: Park entrances at Braddock and Biddle; Beechwood Blvd; Reynolds and Homewood; and Commercial Ave under I-376.

Trail Information: Large and highly-interconnected network of official and unofficial trails. The park has around 10 miles of official trails, mostly wide and level hard-packed dirt. Some of the official trails feature moderate climbs. There is at least another 10-15 miles of unofficial trail, generally technical singletrack with steep climbs and tricky descents into ravines.

Miscellaneous Information: Be wary of the bridges on the singletrack trails. At least one of them is springy and is capable of catapulting heavier runners off it. When in doubt, walk the bridge.
