Directions: From downtown Lancaster, go south on South
Duke Street. At Chesapeake Street, which is at the bottom of a long hill, turn
right at the traffic light. At the bottom of that hill, turn left into Lancaster
County Park.
Trail Information: A series of trails runs through the
park. Members of the Lancaster Road Runners Club run here frequently, especially
Sunday mornings at 7:30. Smith's challenge trail race takes place every year on
Father's Day.
Miscellaneous Information: This park is actually in the city of
Lancaster. These trails are almost rock free. Hills are steep but short.
Information is available at the park office, which you'll see as you enter the
park.
