Directions:: Directions to the Trexler Nature Preserve
Trexler Environmental Center Parking Lot. From Rt, 22 take Rt. 309 north for 4.7
miles to Old Packhouse Rd. turn left and go 0.8 miles to Orchard Rd. turn right
and go 0.35 miles to the parking lot on the left. More detailed directions

Trail Information:: The trails border the Trexler Game Preserve
and cross through the Lehigh Valley Zoo property. There is a mix of old farm
road and single track trails with panoramic views of the Lehigh Valley. There
are also views of American Bison and Elk in bordering fields. Great place to get
in some challenging hills and take in some amazing local natural scenery. The
border loop includes one stream crossing, several very steep hills, long switch
backs, and open fields. There is 18 miles of trails in the Nature Preserve, but
the Border trail is a 8.5 Mile loop.
Miscellaneous Information:: A monthly group trail run happens
at Trexler Nature Preserve Border Trail the second Saturday of each month. For
