Miller Springs Nature Center, Belton

Directions: Miller Springs Nature Center is located at 1473 FM 2271, Belton, TX 76513
From I-35 take Hwy 317 in Belton, TX and go north. Stay on Hwy 317 (Main St) to Lake Rd and turn left. Then turn right on Hwy 2271 and cross the dam. Miller Springs Nature Center parking is on the right just beyond the Lake Belton Dam. 

Trail Information: There are several blazed trails winding throughout the scenic Miller Springs Nature Center. Twists through mountain cedar forest and over exposed limestone shelves. Cross a creek via an old iron bridge, connect to a trail that contains remnants of the old road that ran from Belton, to the small town of Tennessee Valley, which was submerged when the lake was formed. Miller Springs Nature Center will challenge and captivate you.

Miscellaneous Information: It is the principal trailhead for hikers, and includes a large parking lot, picnic tables, a covered pavilion, and handicap-accessible trails. The Center is a 260-acre scenic natural area located between the Leon River and 40 foot high bluffs, immediately east of the Lake Belton Dam.
