Directions:: Rt. #22A south of Addison to Wilmarth Road (east) to T. of
Mountain Road parking lot is 500' north of trail head. Well marked
Trail Information:: All the good things in a trail...Mud, loose rocks,
streams, downed trees, ledge outcrops and a killer view of Lake Champlain and Adirondack
Mtns. at the top. Other trails bisect/continue north along ridge and drop off down
to Mountain road for a loop return. Elevation gain - approx 1,000'. Trailhead
to summit time ~20 min. Balance is level to steep down
Miscellaneous Information:: Best times to go are late afternoons on
weekdays - forget the weekends when the hikers are out in full force.
