Directions: Take Memorial Drive west past the Janesville Country Club
just past the outskirts of town. Continue to N. Austin Rd. Turn right on
the dirt road at or before N. Austin. There is a sign indicating the
arboretum. Drive a quarter mile up the road to the parking lot.
Trail Information: This is a beautiful wooded area with miles of looping,
intersecting (and somewhat technical) singletrack with some wider areas. I
reluctantly share this location since I have enjoyed relative solitude whenever
I run there (except for the deer). The area is quite hilly, lots of roots,
minimal rocks. There is a stream that runs parallel to part of the trail.
Miscellaneous Information: It is used by mtn. bikers (including myself)
though I've never seen anything but fresh tracks.
