Directions: This trail lies in the heart of Janesville and functions as
x-country ski trails in the winter. It lies in the area behind the
Rockport Peace Park and Rockport swimming pool. It lies on the corner of
Rockport Rd and Afton Road. Park at the back of the pool parking lot and
you will see the ski trail signs.
Trail Information: This is a wooded section of trails that border several
small farms and neighborhoods. There is about 3-5 miles of trail that runs
in loops of different sizes. There are lots of trees and several steep
hills to climb. It is generally not very crowded.
Miscellaneous Information: Mtn bikers (including myself) use these trails
but not with any great frequency.

Directions:: From Janesville, go west on Rockport Rd one
mile. Park entrance is on the left.
Trail Information: 7 - 8 miles of heavily wooded single track
and cross country ski/hiking trails. Mild hills with elevation gains of less
than 100 ft, with few steep inclines. Can be connected with local paved
bike/walking path for longer distances along the Rock River; paved trail extends
10 miles. Water seasonally available at nearby pool facility.
Miscellaneous Information: Trail is partially closed to hiking
in cross country ski season.
